Recreational sports play a vital role in promoting overall well-being by enhancing both physical fitness and psychological health. This paper examines the effects of recreational sports on various physical fitness components such as cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, and body composition, as well as psychological variables including stress, anxiety, self-esteem, and social well-being. The study utilizes a combination of literature review and empirical research to highlight the positive outcomes of engaging in recreational sports activities. The findings suggest that regular participation in recreational sports significantly improves physical fitness while also contributing to mental health benefits.
