Abstract

The paper is premised on Bharatiya values and culture as the guiding principle of India’s G20 Presidency. This is reflected in everything from the theme of the Presidency Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (One Earth, One Family, One Future) to building an inclusive world by welcoming the African Union, promoting equitable growth in tune with environmental sustainability and consensus-based decision-making in the form of the Delhi Declaration. India’s Presidency showcased its rich cultural and civilizational legacy based on concepts like Dhrama and Karma, which have been the guiding principles of life since times immemorial. Their eternal relevance can be understood by the fact that pressing contemporary challenges look upto Bharatiya perspective for amiable solutions that can ensure peaceful co-existence and harmonious development.
